Adalbert Pilch's engraved design shows a white fleur-de-lis above a left-handed scout handshake, under the heading 50 Jahre Pfadfinderbewegung in Österreich with the anniversary years 1912–1962.
Three million copies were printed in panes of 50. Engraver Georg Wimmer; State Printing Works; line engraving; perforated 14½ × 13¾. Black proof impressions and an imperforate printing are also recorded.
