History
Iran issued a 2 rial commemorative at Tehran on 23 July 1965 for the Middle East Rover Moot. The design places a Scout fleur-de-lis and a snow-capped peak inside an orange boteh motif on a yellow oval, above a blue panel of white arabesque scrollwork; the stamp is inscribed MIDDLE EAST ROVER MOOT with the value 2 R. The Parliament Printing Office printed the issue by lithography in panes of fifty on paper watermarked with a Persian inscription and the coat of arms in a circle, perforated 10½.
