History
Niger issued a 150 franc airmail commemorative at Niamey on 22 March 1972 for the International Seminar of World Scouting held in Cotonou that month. Jacques Combet designed and engraved a large Scout salute in outline, a fleur-de-lis in a sunburst at upper left, and palm trees and peaked roofs behind; the stamp is inscribed REPUBLIQUE DU NIGER, POSTE AERIENNE, COTONOU — MARS 1972 and SEMINAIRE INTERNATIONAL DU SCOUTISME MONDIAL. The French Stamp Printing Office printed it by recess, comb perforated 13. It was withdrawn from sale on 31 August 1973.
