History
Bulgaria issued two commemoratives and a souvenir sheet on 12 August 1974 for the thirtieth anniversary of the Dimitrov Pioneer Organisation Septemvriyche. They are photogravure. The stamps are comb perforated 13, one million of each; the sheet measures 60 × 84 mm, is frame perforated 13, and was printed in two hundred thousand copies. Sources give no designer or printer.
Each stamp is headed 30 ГОДИНИ ДПО „СЕПТЕМВРИЙЧЕ“, with НР БЪЛГАРИЯ and ПОЩА. The 1 stotinka shows a woman and a Pioneer boy in a red neckerchief, in profile on green. The 2 stotinki shows a girl Pioneer reaching toward three white doves, on blue. The souvenir sheet carries a 60 stotinki stamp of the organisation’s badge — a red star with Georgi Dimitrov and the motto ВИНАГИ ГОТОВ! — and, below it, ЗА ДЕЛОТО НА СОЦИАЛИЗМА, ЗА ЩАСТИЕТО НА НАШАТА РОДИНА, БЪДИ ГОТОВ! and two doves.
