History
Libya issued a 10 dirham stamp on 1 September 1980, lettered SOCIALIST PEOPLE'S LIBYAN ARAB JAMAHIRIYA, 11th ANNIVERSARY OF THE FIRST SEPTEMBER REVOLUTION 1980, and CREATION AND YOUTH IN THE JAMAHIRIYA. Offset lithography, comb perforated 13½. Designer and printer are not established.
The design shows an outdoor ceremony: two men at a table present books or awards to a boy in a red shirt and white shorts; another boy stands beside him. Behind them a formation of girls in red and white hold large red hoops, with palms and buildings in the distance.
