The issuing authority
Postage stamps of Yugoslavia began with the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes in 1918 and continued through the socialist federation. The posts of the successor republics took over after the state dissolved in the 1990s.
Scouting
Yugoslav Scouting began before the First World War in the South Slav lands and was later organised as Savez Izviđača Jugoslavije. After the federation dissolved, each republic formed its own association; several are now WOSM members.
