Series history
A commemorative label for the Taiwan provincial district jamboree of the Boy Scouts of China held from 7 to 13 August 1960 (Republic of China Year 49, 49·8·7–13) at the seaside resort of Toucheng, Yilan County — 宜蘭縣頭城海濱浴場. It carries no face value and no postal validity.
The circular badge takes the blue–white–red bands of the national colours, with the Scout fleur-de-lis and national sun at the centre and the camp dates in the red field. Chinese inscriptions around the circle name the Boy Scouts of China, Taiwan province, and the camp; beneath the badge stand 中華民國四十九年 and 台灣省分區大露營紀念.
This was a provincial district gathering, not a National Jamboree — the fourth National Jamboree of Scouts of China was held only in 1970 at Hsinfong, Hsinchu. Our sources give no printer or quantity. Domfil does not list the label.
