Notes
Three-finger Scout salute and World Scout fleur-de-lis; 4th Pakistan National Jamboree
Series history
Pakistan issued a 15 paisa commemorative on 29 January 1967 for the 4th National Boy Scout Jamboree. Places of sale included Karachi and other post offices.
The design, by Abdul Rauf, shows a large three-finger Scout salute in salmon on a dark plum field, with the white World Scout fleur-de-lis at upper centre. The top edge reads 4th PAKISTAN NATIONAL JAMBOREE; POSTAGE runs vertically at left; the face value 15 PAISA sits at right above PAKISTAN in Urdu and English.
Pakistan Security Printing Corporation produced 1,500,000 copies by photogravure in panes of fifty, perforated comb 12¾ × 14. Stamp size is 41 × 26 mm.
