A Scout in a grey-green uniform and black beret giving the three-finger salute, with the Taegeukgi behind him and the Boy Scouts of Korea emblem (gold fleur-de-lis on blue) at upper right. Inscribed 대한민국 우표, REPUBLIC OF KOREA, 1972, 10, and 한국 보이스카우트 창립 50주년 기념.

Series history

The Republic of Korea issued a 10 won commemorative at Seoul on 5 October 1972 for the fiftieth anniversary of the Boy Scouts of Korea. Huei Han Chun designed a Scout in uniform giving the three-finger salute, with the Taegeukgi and the association emblem. The Government Printing Agency printed 1,000,000 copies by photogravure in panes of fifty, comb perforated 13½ × 13.
