History
Upper Volta issued a 250 f stamp at Ouagadougou on 15 December 1973 showing Lord Baden-Powell with the zodiac sign Pisces, one value from a set of twelve famous men and their signs. It was printed by offset lithography, comb perforated 13 × 14. Sources give no designer or printer.
A portrait of Baden-Powell in a campaign hat stands at the right, with a white Scout fleur-de-lis and a gold disc of two fish lettered POISSONS and 19 février au 20 mars. The stamp is inscribed REPUBLIQUE DE HAUTE-VOLTA, LORD BADEN-POWELL, POSTES and 250 F.
