History
Sudan issued three commemorative stamps on 15 January 1974 for the 24th World Scout Conference, held in 1973. Harrison & Sons printed the set by lithography in panes of 50. The stamps were withdrawn from sale on 15 July 1974. Each design shows a gold Scout fleur-de-lis, a knotted vertical rope, and a red vertical scarf or staff, inscribed D R SUDAN and THE 24th WORLD SCOUT CONFERENCE 1973. The 2 piastres is olive-green, the 4 piastres olive-brown, and the 10½ piastres slate-blue.
