50º aniversário
Series history
Barbados marked fifty years of Boy Scouting with a three-value set issued on 9 March 1962. Each stamp shows the Scout fleur-de-lis superimposed on an outline map of the island, with Queen Elizabeth II in a crowned circle at upper right and the legend JUBILEE 1912–1962. The denominations are 4 cents, 12 cents and $1.20, engraved in changing colours of the same design.
Designer credited as K. R. B.; Bradbury Wilkinson; engraving in panes of 50; perforated 11½ × 11; watermark St Edward's Crown and CA multiple. The issue was withdrawn from sale on 5 June 1962.
