Notes
Scout portrait with fleur-de-lis emblems; SHARJAH BOY SCOUTS
Series history
Sharjah issued a Boy Scouts commemorative set on 13 September 1964, inscribed SHARJAH BOY SCOUTS. Harrison and Sons printed the stamps by photogravure. Three designs appear across the values: a Scout standing with a staff, a Scout march-past with drums, and a Scout portrait against fleur-de-lis emblems. The issue comprises six ordinary postage values from 1 naye paise to 2 Gulf rupees, perforated, together with the same six values imperforate. An imperforate souvenir sheet of the 2 rupee portrait design was also released. Sources give no designer.
