Vertical stamp on an orange ruled ground with the same rope-framed Scout emblem as the 25 m; inscribed for the Seventh Arab Boy Scouts Camp, 12 August 1966.
Series history
Libya issued three commemorative stamps on 12 August 1966 for the First Arab Girl Scouts Camp and the Seventh Arab Boy Scouts Camp, held at Tripoli.
The 5 millième is a horizontal green design with a dark silhouette of a leaping horned animal and a winged Girl Scout trefoil emblem; the English caption reads 12TH AUGUST 1966 THE FIRST ARAB GIRL SCOUTS CAMP. The 25 millième and 65 millième are vertical stamps sharing a Scout fleur-de-lis with a palm tree in the centre petal, above stylized wings and a globe, enclosed in a rope border tied with a reef knot and inscribed THE SEVENTH ARAB BOY SCOUTS CAMP / 12TH AUGUST 1966. The 25 millième has a pink ruled ground; the 65 millième an orange one.
Joh. Enschedé printed the set by offset lithography. The 5 millième is comb perforated 13 × 11; the 25 millième and 65 millième are comb perforated 11 × 13.
