Series history

South Korea issued a single commemorative at Seoul on 30 September 1968 for the 6th Far Eastern Regional Scout Conference. Huei Han Chun designed the stamp; the Government Printing Agency printed it by lithography in panes of fifty, comb perforated 12½, in the format 28 × 38 mm. The print run is given as 1,000,000. The design shows a large stylised Scout fleur-de-lis in pink, yellow, blue and green, crossed by a yellow bar inscribed 1968, set against geometric mountain peaks, with the taegeuk and REPUBLIC OF KOREA at the top and the face value 7.00 at lower left.
