Two Scouts in uniform, in profile. Photogravure, line perforated 13½.
Series history
Fujairah issued four photogravure commemoratives on 8 June 1970 for an anniversary of world Scouting. The stamps measure 40 × 48 mm and are line perforated 13½; an imperforate printing of the four designs was issued alongside, in panes of fifteen (three by five). Designer and printer are not established. The 25 dirham shows two Scouts in uniform; the 50 dirham a Scout signalling with a flag; the 1 riyal Scouts planting a tree; the 2 riyal a portrait of Lord Baden-Powell. The Fujeira Post Office later declared the issue unofficial. Postal standing of the issue is not settled.
