Series history
Fujeira issued a lithographed set on 20 August 1971 for the 13th World Scout Jamboree in Japan. Five values show a bugler before tents, Scouts with a dog in undergrowth, a Scout with semaphore flags, two Girl Guides, and a Scout salute; each stamp carries a side panel with a knot and a fleur-de-lis, and is inscribed JAMBOREE 1971 in English and Japanese. About 20,000 perforated sets. A 5 riyal souvenir sheet places a portrait of Robert Baden-Powell (1857–1941) against Mount Fuji and a red sun. The stamps are inscribed FUJEIRA. Postal standing is unsettled.
