Series history
Hong Kong issued three commemoratives at Kowloon on 23 July 1971 for the sixtieth anniversary of the Hong Kong Boy Scouts: 10 cents, 50 cents and 2 dollars, each with the Scout emblem and a large 60. Kan Tai-Keung designed the set; Harrison & Sons printed it in lithography in panes of fifty, comb perforated 14 × 14½, on paper watermarked St. Edward's Crown and CA multiple. Quantities were 5,000,000, 4,000,000 and 1,000,000. The stamps were withdrawn from sale on 22 October 1971.
