Notes
Imperforate souvenir sheet. The silver foil flag-hoisting 50 dirham stamp on a white card inscribed Ras Al Khaima in English at the top and in Arabic at the bottom.
Series history
Ras al-Khaimah issued the flag-hoisting jamboree design in embossed metallic foil, silver and gold. Each 50 dirham stamp shows three Scouts raising a flag, one saluting, with Mount Fuji and a tent; inscribed 13th WORLD JAMBOREE 1971 NIPPON, POSTAGE, and RAS AL KHAIMA. Die-cut stamps exist in both metals; an imperforate silver souvenir sheet places the same stamp on a white card inscribed Ras Al Khaima in English and Arabic. Postal standing is unsettled.
