Series history
Davaar Island issued local cinderella labels for European Friendship Year, dated 23 April 1972. The design is a purple Scout fleur-de-lis and a purple Guide trefoil around 25p, lettered EUROPEAN FRIENDSHIP YEAR 1972 and DAVAAR ISLAND, in pale blue and purple. The 25 p exists as a roulette stamp and as an imperforate souvenir sheet. A later printing adds EUROPA 1972 in black on the blue panel, dated 5 August 1972, again as a roulette stamp and as an imperforate sheet. They are local labels, not a Post Office issue.
