Series history
Antigua issued four commemoratives and a souvenir sheet at St. John's on 26 August 1975 for the 14th World Scout Jamboree, Nordjamb 75, in Norway. They are inscribed ANTIGUA and carry the EIIR cypher, the Nordjamb 75 mountain mark and a World Scout emblem. G. L. Vasarhelyi designed them. House of Questa printed them by offset lithography, comb perforated 14, in panes of 50 (two panes of 25 with gutter pairs).
The 15 cent shows a Scout in hat sounding a bugle against a sunset over water. The 20 cent shows two Scouts before tents and national flags; the Scout at the right is Derek Risley of Darlington. The 35 cent is a portrait of Baden-Powell in Scout hat before a camp. The 2 dollar shows dancers in West African dress with two Scouts looking on.
The souvenir sheet, 144 × 108 mm, gathers the four values on a mint-green field inscribed 14 TH WORLD JAMBOREE and ANTIGUA, with Scout emblems including a winged fleur-de-lis marked JÓ MUNKÁT. It is harrow perforated 14.
