Guides in uniform marching; SHARJAH GIRL SCOUTS
Series history
Sharjah issued a Girl Guides commemorative set on 30 June 1964, inscribed SHARJAH GIRL SCOUTS. Harrison and Sons printed the stamps by photogravure. Each value shows Guides in uniform marching in formation; the colour changes with the denomination. The issue comprises six ordinary postage values from 1 naye paise to 2 Gulf rupees, perforated 14 × 15, together with the same six values imperforate. An imperforate souvenir sheet of the 2 rupee design was also released. Sources give no designer.
