Series history
Ajman issued a lithographed set on 15 September 1971 for the 13th World Scout Jamboree. Six designs, each with a Japanese flag and a fleur-de-lis, show a Scout signalling from a timber tower (5 dirhams), cooking over a campfire (10 dirhams), two Scouts on the march (15 dirhams), canoeing (20 dirhams), two Scouts watching a snow-capped mountain (25 dirhams), and a portrait of Robert Baden-Powell with Mount Fuji and a pagoda (5 riyals airmail). The stamps are inscribed AJMAN STATE AND ITS DEPENDENCIES. The same designs exist comb perforated 13½, imperforate, and as numbered souvenir sheets. A larger 5 riyal airmail souvenir sheet places the Baden-Powell stamp above a sunset with a pagoda. Printed by Questa. Postal standing is unsettled.
