Series history

Malaysia issued three commemoratives at Kuala Lumpur on 1 August 1974 for the third national Scout jamboree. Malaysian Advertising Services designed them from material supplied by the Boy Scouts of Malaysia; Harrison & Sons lithographed them in panes of one hundred, without watermark. The 10 sen and 50 sen are comb perforated 14¼ × 14; the 15 sen, a horizontal format, is comb 13¾ × 14. Sources give no quantities.

All three are inscribed malaysia and JAMBORI MALAYSIA 1974. The 10 sen shows a pentagonal badge with a map of Malaysia above the national Scout emblem; the 15 sen shows three Scouts saluting before the national flag and a green Scout flag lettered PERSEKUTUAN BUDAK-BUDAK PENGAKAP MALAYSIA; the 50 sen shows the Scout emblem in a dark-blue oval with PENGAKAP.
